Partner Training

AlgoSec offers its channel partners a two-day technical training for the AlgoSecTM Firewall Analyzer (AFA). The training includes both a theoretical knowledge transfer as well as a hands-on lab. At the end of the training, AlgoSec offers attendees a certification exam if they opt to become CAFSP certified.

Training Overview
The CAFSP training for partners provides attendees with a deep technical understanding of the AFA and real world case studies to enable partners to sell more easily.  After the course, partners will know how to install, configure and operate the AFA.

Who Should Take This Training
The training is targeted to:
• Sales engineers who provide pre-sales support, run evaluations and build solution for customers
• Technical support engineers who provide ongoing customer care

Prerequisite Knowledge
People who attend the course should have a basic knowledge of firewall configuration, operation and management as well as understand firewall policies and rules. They should be familiar with at least one of the following firewall types: Check Point Firewall-1, Cisco PIX/ASA/FWSM, Cisco Router ACL or Juniper Netscreen.

IT Center Training

AlgoSec also enables IT training centers to provide training on the AFA. Centers wishing to incorporate AlgoSec's offerings into their curricula receive:

Package Contents

• AlgoSec provides the training firm SW licenses for training purposes at no charge.
• If the training firm wishes to offer its clients a license to analyze their own firewall as a sales promotion to the training, AlgoSec will provide such licenses at no charge (except for a small handling fee). The license allows the clients to analyze their largest firewall an unlimited number of times for a two month period. Only one license will be issued per company. We accept all major credit cards.

How to apply

• Register to our Channel Partners Program here. List information about your training activities in the comment field, and how many people you wish to train. Ask for "training center access".
• Once AlgoSec approves your firm as a participant in the training plan, you may download the SW and conduct the training.
• If you want AlgoSec to provide the licenses to your customers, they should Register here and request a license key according to your special plan. The licenses will be e-mailed to your firm, which then can be forwarded to your customers.
