Yuval Baron
Chairman, President & CEO

Prior to launching AlgoSec, Mr. Baron co-founded Actelis Networks Inc. in 1998 where he served as CEO until 2002. Actelis Networks develops solutions that deliver fiber quality links over copper pairs in the local loop. During his tenure Actelis Networks had three separate funding rounds raising $75 million from investors, including USVP, NEA, Walden, Carlyle, Salomon Smith Barney, France Telecom, Sumitomo, The Anschutz group, and Vertex. To date Actelis has over 120 employees.
Before co-founding Actelis, Mr. Baron was vice president of sales and marketing at RIT Technologies, a high speed networking infrastructure company. At RIT, he built a distribution network in 55 countries and drove revenue growth from $3M to $21M leading to a successful IPO.
Prior to RIT, Mr. Baron spent a decade with Comverse Technology (Nasdaq:CMVT), a world leader in network service and security platforms. Mr. Baron holds a B.S. in Mathematics, Computer Science, and Economics (Cum Laude) and an MBA in finance both from Bar Ilan University.

Avishai Wool
Chief Technology Officer and Co-Founder

Prior to co-founding AlgoSec, Dr. Wool co-founded Lumeta Corporation in 2000 and was chief scientist until 2002. At Lumeta, Dr. Wool was responsible for transforming firewall analyzer technology he helped create while working at Bell Labs into a commercial product.
Prior to Bell Labs spinning off the Lumeta Corporation, Dr. Wool was a member of Bell Lab's technical staff in the Secure Systems Research Department where he led a team of researchers who created the first research prototypes of the firewall analyzer.
Dr. Wool is an associate editor of the ACM Transactions on Information and System Security. He has served on the program committee of the leading IEEE and ACM conferences on computer and network security. He has published more than 40 research papers and holds 10 US Patents with many more pending. He is an associate professor in the School of Electrical Engineering, Tel Aviv University. He holds a B.Sc. (Cum Laude) in Mathematics and Computer Science from Tel Aviv University, and a M.Sc. and Ph.D. in Computer Science from the Weizmann Institute of Science.

Neil McNamara
General Manager, North America

Neil McNamara has over 20 years of experience in direct and channel sales and sales management in the field of computer networking and data security. Mr. Mcnamara has led and participated in the growth of many companies and takes particular interest in turning small companies to global leaders in their space. 
Prior to AlgoSec Mr. McNamara held VP Sales positions with Copiun, SurfControl, AirDefense and Check Point Software.  At Check Point Software, the worldwide leader in securing the Internet, he was responsible for sales to the Western Hemisphere and managed at team of 200 sales and technical professionals. 
Mr. McNamara  has a BS. Degree is Social Science from Westfield State University.

Bruno Weinberger
General Manager, EMEA

Bruno Weinberger has more than 10 years of experience in the high tech industry, holding various technical, sales and business development positions.
Before joining AlgoSec, Mr. Weinberger consulted for venture-backed technology start-ups, helping them launch and drive business throughout Europe. Prior to this, he served as vice president of business development and sales, EMEA for network-security vendor Whale Communications, acquired by Microsoft. At Whale, he was instrumental in managing strategic corporate accounts in EMEA, developing relationships with Whale's strategic partners in EMEA, expanding the European sales team and developing new territories in Asia Pac. Mr. Weinberger joined Whale from Amdocs (NYSE: DOX), where he worked on developing a billing solution for telecom providers.
Mr. Weinberger holds a BA in Computer Science from Tel Aviv Academic College.

Guy Givoni
General Manager, Asia Pacific & Latin America

Guy Givoni brings to AlgoSec vast experience in business development and international sales to Fortune-500 companies, with proficiency in various high-tech industries including Network Security, Telecom and Semiconductors.
Prior to joining AlgoSec, Mr. Givoni served as VP Sales & Strategy at Runcom Technologies where he was in-charge of opening new markets in Asia-Pacific, Europe and Africa. Mr. Givoni's background includes a variety of management positions of professional-services, product and R&D divisions.
Mr. Givoni holds a B.Sc in Mathematics and Computer Science from the Hebrew University in Jerusalem and an MBA in finance from the Inter-Disciplinary Center, Herzelia.

Anner Kushnir
Vice President, Research and Development

Anner Kushnir has over 12 years of experience in various research,development and management positions.
Before joining AlgoSec, Mr. Kushnir held several R&D positions in high-tech start-up companies. His latest position was as a leading algorithm researcher for a consumer electronics start-up company, in the field of computer vision, image analysis and image processing.
Prior to this, he served as a hardware engineer for optical network solution vendor Flexlight Networks, where he participated in logic design of FPGA and ASIC components for high-speed optical communication systems.
Mr. Kushnir is a former officer and head of a technological R&D section in an elite Israeli Defense Force (IDF) unit. He holds a B.Sc. and a M.Sc. (both Cum Laude) in Electrical Engineering from Tel-Aviv University.

Yoav Shaked
Vice President, Products

Yoav Shaked has over 25 years of experience in communications and security, in executive positions, product and R&D.
Prior to joining AlgoSec, Mr. Shaked was VP of Products at Eurekify, a company in the Security Role & Compliance Management space, which was acquired by CA.
Prior to that, Mr. Shaked was founder and CEO of XciTel Ltd, a startup in the Cellular service delivery platforms (SDPs) area, and founder and Managing Director of Netology Ltd. (a Comverse Technology subsidiary) overseeing the development and business deployment of an innovative Short Message Service (SMS) Center for cellular operators.
Mr. Shaked also held senior product and R&D management positions with New Dimension Software (later acquired by BMC).
Mr. Shaked holds a B.Sc. in Mathematics and Computer Science with honors from the Tel-Aviv University.

Nimrod (Nimmy) Reichenberg
Vice President, Marketing and Business Development

Nimmy Reichenberg brings over 10 years of technology marketing and business development experience to AlgoSec.
Prior to joining AlgoSec, Mr. Reichenberg served as VP of Marketing and Business Development at NextNine, where he was responsible for wordlwide marketing strategy and execution and helped the company significantly grow its sales and transition to profitability.
Prior to NextNine, Mr. Reichenberg held various product management and marketing roles at M-Systems (acquired by SanDisk in 2006). In his last position as Director of Marketing for Enterprise Solutions, Mr. Reichenberg founded the marketing department of the company’s industry leading enterprise security solutions.
Mr. Reichenberg holds a B.Sc. in Computer Science and an MBA from Tel-Aviv University.
