Roswell, GA – AlgoSec, the market leader for Network Security Policy Management, today announced a key relationship with Blue Coat Systems, a leading provider of Web security and WAN optimization solutions. The AlgoSec Security Management Suite now seamlessly integrates with Blue Coat ProxySG Secure Web Gateway appliances (SWGs) to simplify and expedite the security policy change request workflow – from end-user request initiation, design and review to work order generation.

The AlgoSec Security Management Suite automates network security policy management and provides IT with visibility and control of complex, multi-vendor networks. It combines AlgoSec Firewall Analyzer and AlgoSec FireFlow, which automatically analyze and optimize complex policies to improve operational efficiency and compliance, reduce risk, and streamline the security change workflow. In 2011, AlgoSec boasted YoY growth of 95%.
The integration with AlgoSec solutions enables Blue Coat Systems customers to automate the change request process by providing out-of-the-box, role-based workflows and proactive analysis of secure web gateway changes to ensure compliance with complete tracking and auditing of the workflow.
