The AlgoSec Horizon Platform
The AlgoSec Horizon Platform delivers application-centric connectivity governance across hybrid environments — spanning on-premises data centers, multi-cloud, SDN, and SD-WAN. Horizon aligns business application intent with security enforcement, providing end-to-end visibility, risk intelligence, and automated policy management across the entire enterprise.

Our Mission
To be the global leader in securing and governing application connectivity — anywhere the business operates.
Our Platform
Horizon enables organizations to:
-
Visualize application connectivity end-to-end across data center, cloud, and distributed networks
-
Automate secure policy changes aligned to business application requirements
-
Shift from rule recertification to application recertification, reducing risk while simplifying compliance
-
Correlate hybrid risk across on-prem and cloud through integrated capabilities such as AppViz, ObjectFlow, and AlgoSec Cloud Enterprise (ACE)
-
Safely remediate unused, duplicate, or overly permissive access to reduce attack surface
-
Accelerate application delivery with zero-touch change automation and full governance controls
-
And Much More….
Horizon transforms network security management from device-centric operations into business-aligned connectivity governance.
What Does AlgoSec License?
Consist of devices required by AlgoSec primarily for topology purposes, in generating accurate Traffic Simulation results. The network map is the basis for Algosec Traffic Simulations, which are performed by various features across the Algosec Suite including the Initial Plan in FireFlow & Connectivity Check in AppViz.
Algosec licenses routing technologies by each unique node that will bed rendered in our topology model, including stand-alone routers & unique VRFs. Please be sure to include a total estimated count of stand-alone routers & unique VRFs.

Encompassing traditional firewalls, load balancers, & proxy devices typically deployed in the datacenter. Algosec licenses these security devices based on the number of individuals, clustered, or virtual devices deployed.
An important consideration when licensing security devices, where Virtual Devices are in use (VDOM, VSYS, Context, etc) & planned to be licensed there is no need to license the “root” device.

CISCO ACI & VmWare NSX (NSX-V & NSX-T) are supported. CISCO ACI licensing is based on the number of Leaf Switches deployed across your various ACI fabrics. Vmware NSX licensing is based on the number of CPU Sockets deployed in your Vmware Infrastucture.

AlgoSec’s existing support for firewalls expands & is applicable in-cloud. This includes third-party firewalling platforms deployed virtually in cloud infrastructure. The licensing methodology for third-party firewalls in the cloud is identical to traditional firewalls deployed in the datacenter.

The AlgoSec Horizon Platform extends visibility and governance into public cloud environments through AlgoSec Cloud Enterprise (ACE). We support Amazon Web Services (AWS), Microsoft Azure, and Google Cloud, providing insight into how your cloud workloads are connected and secured. Horizon helps ensure your cloud access controls align with business requirements while reducing risk across hybrid environments that span data center and cloud.
AlgoSec Cloud licensing is based on the number of active cloud workloads in your environment — specifically virtual machines and container hosts — across the subscriptions or accounts you would like to onboard. We license by workload rather than by individual security objects (like Security Groups or Network Security Groups) because cloud security constructs change frequently and dynamically, while workloads provide a stable and predictable measure of scope. You do not need to calculate complex security objects; simply provide an estimate of your workloads in AWS, Azure, and/or GCP, and our team will align the appropriate Horizon capabilities to your environment.

AlgoSec provides support for leading SD-WAN & SASE technologies Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Versa Networks, CISCO Catalyst, & Palo Alto Prisma Access, focused primarily around visibility, analytics, & topology awareness. AlgoSec licences SASE solutions either by the number of Users or the number of Locations/Branches, to mirror the licensing methodology of the SASE vendors themselves.
