The AlgoSec Connectivity Management Platform provides a complete solution for managing complex network security policies & cloud environments – from the business application layer to the network infrastructure.
Our Mission
To be the global leader in securing application connectivity, anywhere.
Our platform enables the world’s most complex organizations to gain visibility, reduce risk and process changes at zero-touch across the hybrid network.
What Does AlgoSec License?
Consist of devices required by AlgoSec primarily for topology purposes, in generating accurate Traffic Simulation results. The network map is the basis for Algosec Traffic Simulations, which are performed by various features across the Algosec Suite including the Initial Plan in FireFlow & Connectivity Check in AppViz.
Algosec licenses routing technologies by each unique node that will bed rendered in our topology model, including stand-alone routers & unique VRFs. Please be sure to include a total estimated count of stand-alone routers & unique VRFs.
Encompassing traditional firewalls, load balancers, & proxy devices typically deployed in the datacenter. Algosec licenses these security devices based on the number of individuals, clustered, or virtual devices deployed.
An important consideration when licensing security devices, where Virtual Devices are in use (VDOM, VSYS, Context, etc) & planned to be licensed there is no need to license the “root” device.
CISCO ACI & VmWare NSX (NSX-V & NSX-T) are supported. CISCO ACI licensing is based on the number of Leaf Switches deployed across your various ACI fabrics. Vmware NSX licensing is based on the number of CPU Sockets deployed in your Vmware Infrastucture.
AlgoSec’s existing support for firewalls expands & is applicable in-cloud. This includes third-party firewalling platforms deployed virtually in cloud infrastructure. The licensing methodology for third-party firewalls in the cloud is identical to traditional firewalls deployed in the datacenter.
The AlgoSec Cloud portfolio provides visibility across public cloud providers, deep network security posture across the hybrid/on-premises and cloud estate, and complete Kubernetes Security Posture Management (KSPM) from CI/CD threat detection to behavioral analysis during runtime.
Amazon AWS, Microsoft Azure, & Google Cloud Service Providers are supported, and pricing is based on the number of defined AWS EC2 Instances, Azure Virtual Machines, and/or Google Compute Engine Virtual machines in the subscriptions/accounts desired for AlgoSec onboarding. AlgoSec classifies each EC2 Instance (AWS) or VM (Azure/GCP) as a Cloud Asset license, which provides full access to all of AlgoSec’s cloud capabilities.
AlgoSec supports cloud native firewalling technologies. Currently this includes Azure Firewall, which is licenced per cloud native firewall deployed.
AlgoSec’s KSPM capability is licenced based on number of cloud-native container repositories. This means number of Amazon Elastic Container Registries (Amazon ECR), Azure Container Registries (ACR, and Google Container (GCR) and Artifact Registries.
AlgoSec provide support for leading SD-WAN & SASE technologies Zscaler Internet Access (ZIA), Versa Networks, & Palo Alto Prisma Access, focused primarily around visibility, analytics, & topology awareness. AlgoSec licences SASE solutions either by the number of Users or the number of Locations/Branches, to mirror the the licensing methodology of the SASE vendors themselves.
