We are hiring an AlgoSec Resident Engineer to join our Sales team and work with LATAM based customers.
Reporting to: AlgoSec Resident Engineering Team Leader
Location: Brazil (home office)
Employment Type: consultant
Responsibilities:
Monitoring, operating and maintaining AlgoSec products, troubleshooting assistance, upgrade planning, knowledge transfer of key sections of the product. Perform product customizations to a certain level. Being the 'Trusted Advisor' to our customers. Working in tight integration with Sales, Support, and R&D departments.
Requirements:
• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position, in a software company.
• Experience in Linux/UNIX environments.
• Experience with networking devices (Switches, Routers etc.)
• Experience in firewall administration and configuration (Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto etc.)
• Experience working with Cloud platforms and managing Cloud Security.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese.
• Ability to operate under pressure in deadline-driven situations and business emergencies.
• Customer oriented and ability to establish customer’s trust.
• Problem solver, result driven, demonstrating a ‘make it happen’ attitude, Attention to details.
• Team player, pleasant to work with, with a high level of integrity, bright, self-learner.
• Willingness to travel up to 50% of the time, including frequent on-site visits to Algosec customers in LATAM.
