As we continue to expand our cloud and enterprise business globally, we are looking for a high-impact AlgoSec Resident Engineer to join our Sales team and work with EMEA-based customers, primarily from Germany.

Location: Germany (Home Office)

What You’ll Do 

  • Consult customers with best practices as a 'Trusted Advisor'.    
  • Identify trends in customer technical landscape, org structures, or priorities, and escalate key insights to internal teams. 
  • Collaborate cross-functional with Sales Engineering, Customer Success, Product, Marketing, and Channel teams to deliver customer impact. 

What We’re Looking For  

  • At least 3 years’ experience in a similar position, in a software company. 
  • NV1 security clearance is needed. 
  • Experience in Linux/UNIX environments. 
  • Experience with networking devices (Switches, Routers etc.) 
  • Experience in firewall administration and configuration (Checkpoint, Cisco, Juniper, Fortinet, Palo Alto etc.)  
  • Experience working with Cloud platforms and managing Cloud Security. 
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in German and English. 
  • Ability to operate under pressure in deadline-driven situations and business emergencies.  
  • Experience dealing with Global customers. 
  • Customer oriented and ability to establish customer’s trust.  
  • Problem solver, result driven, demonstrating a ‘make it happen’ attitude, attention to details.  
  • Team player, pleasant to work with, with a high level of integrity, bright, self-learner. 
  • Ability to identify and escalate revenue-driving adoption or expansion signals. 
  • Willingness to travel up to 25% of the time, working on-site (ANZ/ SEA) with AlgoSec customers. 

 

Nice To Have  

  • Linux script: Perl/ Python/shell. 
  • Knowledge of APIs (Java, REST). 
  • Virtual routing and Software-defined networking.
