How to Define, Simplify and Enforce Network Segmentation and Security Zoning

by

Following our recent webinar on “Segmenting Your Network for Security: The Good, the Bad and the Ugly”, our own CTO, Professor Wool, has produced a new “security management 201” video, where he provides his own tips on how to define network segmentation and security zoning.

In the video, Professor Wool presents a simple and effective matrix that enables you to describe your security policy in high-level business terms. Through this matrix you can quickly and easily define network segments and security zones, and the traffic allowed to and from each zone. This allows you to immediately evaluate whether a firewall change request complies with or violates your policy. You can also use this matrix to review your existing firewall rules to make sure they comply with your policy. Enjoy the video!
